Modern Arnis
Modern Arnis is
a Filipino martial art developed by the late Grandmaster Remy Preses.
Modern
 Arnis blends the best elements of Filipino Sword, Stick and
Knife fighting into a versatile and effective martial art. This
style of martial arts also includes joint locks, arm bars,
takedowns, dynamic strikes, counters and blocks.
Instructor Daren
Reid is a Black Belt in Modern Arnis and is personally endorsed as
an instructor by the founder of Modern Arnis Grandmaster Remy
Preses.Grandmaster Remy Preses – came to the U.S. as an ambassador
for the Philippines.
Since that time he has become one of the most
sought after martial artist in the country. He has
 conducted
thousands of seminars worldwide. He is a member of the Black Belt
Hall of Fame, and was recognized as Instructor of the Year in 1982,
and Weapons Instructor of the year in 1994 by Black Belt magazine.
Reids welcomes martial artists of all styles
and skill levels, as well as students with no experience. This
class is offered once a week.
